Great Product and Excellent Customer Care
I've been in the market for smart blinds for some time and spent a good amount of time comparing three different vendors. I found that Graywind gives the best bang for my buck. Their product is feature-rich, simple to use, and offers the lowest cost. I decided to give them a try and ordered a pair.
Oh boy... what can I say? I am impressed! I ordered the hardwired motor option. Installation was easy, and it connected to the app in no time. Setting it up with Amazon Alexa was a breeze.
I created a routine in Alexa, and now all I do is tell Alexa to open the blinds or set them to close at sunset.
Since it’s perfect for my needs, I ordered three more pairs during the Black Friday sale. I got a great discount and a free Alexa device as well! I’ve installed all of them, and now all my shades are automated.
Their app makes it easy to set up and adjust the top and bottom limits. Alexa can also adjust the blinds to a specific percentage if you don’t want them fully opened. Works extremely with Alexa routines to open them at a message and close them at sunset.
The best part is they come with a remote control if you prefer to operate them that way.
Their app is very intuitive and user-friendly.
Customer service is excellent! They accommodated and fulfilled all my requests without hesitation, which makes me want to give them 10 stars if I could. Bella and Iris, in particular, went above and beyond to provide exceptional care. Their quick responses and willingness to resolve my concerns truly impressed me.I definitely recommend Graywind and will be buying more for my second-floor windows.

I ordered 2 sets of blinds for my living room so we can watch movies/ game when the afternoon sun is out. I ordered the blackout model even though they look kind of ugly to me (I am not a fan of the plastic look, would prefer cellular). The good: it cuts down on the light, install was simple. We measured properly and it fit like a glove, love that they fit my 8' wide window. The remote came preprogrammed and worked easily.
The not good: even with the vinyl side strips installed it is not by any means a blackout blind. In Alaska blackout blinds are important and this is not one.

I've had them for 18 months now, and still extreme happy, they help control the temperature in the house.

The shades were delivered on time in a good packaging, were simple to install, and fit perfectly. They were pre-calibrated so there was no adjustment needed. Quiet operation. The shade material is a little plasticy, but overall acceptable and a good value.

Got the shades. Connected to smart life. Love, love, love. Setup routines to open and close windows automatically and by voice command. Smart home is complete.

Was nervous but these were super easy to install. One remote works all 3 shades. Really happy I bought them.

The physical installation was simple. I had trouble with setting up the remote. I had problems with reading the documentation due to the multiple languages and how my brain just won't let go of the fact that I can't read other languages. So, I made several mistakes and had to email support. They got back to me quickly and provided the correct and helpful answers. Everything setup quickly and easily after the help. I would expect that most people won't have the same problem I had with the documentation.

This is second time order from this company. For outsize blind Measure window first and add 1.5inches to2 inches to be fit perfectly and make sure you have plenty of space.
Rep was able to help me because product has ~.5inch differences.

With being extremely picky about details I can say that those blinds are just as good as it gets. After doing extensive research decided to purchase them. Color is matching perfectly our bed frame and we can’t be more happy! Customer service is responding instantly, very responsive, professional and kind. They answered patiently all my questions so all the process went smooth 👍🏻

PS after few days they are fully straight and in their shape.

I wanted some new blinds for our bedroom with blackout material to let us sleep in on weekends, but automatically wake us up in the morning with sunlight during the work week. The material does a great job of blocking out light, but the sun rises facing the bedroom so there is a good deal of light bleed around the sides. If I were to order again, I would have gone about 1.5" wider (outside mount) so that the edges would extend further and reduce some of the light bleed. These have about .5" gap on each side, which I knew about when I ordered but thought it would look funny if the valence were wider than my windows.

I have these integrated with Home Assistant using Zigbee and there are some quirks to work around. The biggest issue is the up/down arrows in HA don't always reflect the current status of the blind, so it will think the blind is lowered when it isn't (or vice versa). Fortunately, the blinds will do what they are supposed to if you send them an open/close command directly (I created a scene to open/close both blinds at same time, and call that from automations and as a button on main screen).

The only major issue I had was on arrival the endpoints were set incorrectly from the factory. When I hit the close button the motor tried to pull the shade inside the valance and pinned itself against the mount, which stretched the thin fabric out a bit at the bottom. Luckily I had the remote in hand and quickly hit the stop button. If you are reading this and are about to order these blinds, I highly suggest you set the endpoints before trying to close or open them. Luckily Graywind support responded quickly to my issue, sent me the info needed to reset the blinds and create the new endpoints. I will say the programming process on these blinds is really fiddly, and requires precise timing and following an exact sequence which took me more attempts than I want to admit, and requires the remote (and a hidden button under the back cover).

I would recommend these, I know there are other more well known brands but they cost 2x-3x more and probably arent any better. The Zigbee was the biggest reason I purchased these, because I prefer to be fully in control of my home automation devices. Wifi connected devices are subject to the whim of whatever company you buy them from, and if they decide its not profitable to continue supporting something the device becomes useless.

My husband and I are both sensitive sleepers and require pure darkness to fall asleep. That dark environment also makes it difficult to wakeup in the morning, so we started looking into smart blinds that would open in the morning at whatever time we specify. We found that these types of blinds can be extremely expensive, but luckily Amazon came to the rescue!

These are custom made to fit your exact specifications and with any additional features you choose! Because it's custom made, it took about 3-5 weeks from the time it was ordered to the time it delivered. We were in awe at how perfectly the shade fit in our window. The very simple yet thorough instructions on how to install and how to download the mobile app and setup the smart device sync was so easy.

We do have blackout curtains on each side of the window to prevent the light that gets through the edges, but I think they have an option for a light blocker on the right and left edges of your window. Not something we needed, but it's a nice option.

This purchase has made us so happy and makes waking up so much more enjoyable and easy. Totally 100% recommend!

We did most of the house with the Graywind light filtering shades (as shown in the attached video and pictures) but we also did a few rooms with these blackouts too.
I’m kind of picky but I also like a good value. These hit the mark delivering better quality and features without the high price tag. In fact I managed to get these installed myself on every window (20 total) for half the price we were bid for even just manual shades from a professional installer.

Our designer told us that the balance is fine, but that she felt the best look for simplicity is to just do a reverse roll without a valance. So we did and I agree that it turned our looking nice so I’m glad we went with that.

One thing to note if you choose no balance like we did. The brackets that Graywind includes with no balance were larger and left a bit of a gap at the top or you have to mount them on their side which was a little awkward looking (though it would have been covered up from view anyway) so we found some brackets from another brand (search Amazon for “rollerhouse 1”/25mm hardware”) and they fit great for inside ceiling mount.

We also had google home already for a bunch of other home automation so it was important to find a compatible option. The RF and ZF motors both have options but require a separate hub. We went with the ZF motor and SmartThings hub which is what allows us to use it with Google home and also to open and close partial (like if we say “open to 50%” or open to 10%) apparently the RF motor only opens fully and closes so the ZF with SmartThings allows that extra benefit.

The last thing I will say is that the customer service is great! It’s clear it’s in China and is pretty much email only (as far as I know) but I had a lot of questions and needed a lot of help before I committed to doing the whole house. I know I was a tough customer. Zoe and the sales/customer service team always responses within 1 business day and we’re always very helpful and kind and patient with me.

Happy with these blinds

We have vaulted ceilings with 5 windows about 15 feet high. Our heat/air was running constantly. The shades fit perfectly and the install was simple. Our electric bill has dropped $50 plus. The remote control is easy to program and we placed the magnetic docking station out of reach of our littles, making it easy to locate. The only con that I have is that our largest shade lost its power rather quickly. Other than that, we are very happy.

Quality Electric blinds, work perfect, great product. Make sure you measure 3 times before ordering, that’s the trick to a perfect fit. I recommend someone with experience do the install, can get a little tricky on larger blinds.

I was originally a bit skeptical about buying custom blinds on Amazon but was I wrong. Not only did Graywinds confirm my measurements and design before starting the making of my order, but was very responsive when I requested adjustments.

When the blinds arrived they were extremely well packaged. Reinforcements on all corners. Padding throughout. No loose items.

Installation couldn’t have been any easier. Only one feedback I have is to include guidance for where the brackets should be placed for extremely wide blinds like mine. The instructions assume a normal sized window that only needs two brackets. I was able to figure it out but it would be nice to have. Setting up the controller and smart features was a breeze and the controls and configurations are very straightforward.

Already looking to get some for our next set of windows!!!
