Graywind x Motionblinds Light Filtering Roller Shades Matter Supported | Premium Fabric

The remote blinds are beautiful! Easy installation and smooth rollers! We were very skeptical ordering them online but paid a fraction of the price quoted from local retailers! Wish they came in a with of 105 for our patio door! We will be ordering for our bedroom soon!

After getting dual roller shades for my bedroom with both a light filtering layer and a blackout layer, I cam back to order for my office. Those fit so well I ordered three more for my patio. What else can I say?

I ordered all of them with zigbee motor so Amazon Echos can control them. That works perfect. Still trying to figure out the zigbee codes to work with Universal Devices eisy home controller

Wow. These shades are awesome and their customer service is fantastic. I ordered one shade to try and then wanted to change that one shade to light blocking. No problem - just a minor cost ($80) and they also sent a link to a video on how to change the motor to the new shade. I then ordered 5 more shades - 3 light filtering and 1 more blackout . All work great and are so good for our rooms. The installation brackets are well made and made installation for wide windows easy. All this and the cost is about 1/4 of what a budget custom store could provide. Very happy customer.

I’m kind of picky but I also like a good value. These hit the mark delivering better quality and features without the high price tag. In fact I managed to get these installed myself on every window (20 total) for half the price we were bid for even just manual shades from a professional installer.

Our designer told us that the balance is fine, but that she felt the best look for simplicity is to just do a reverse roll without a valance. So we did and I agree that it turned our looking nice so I’m glad we went with that.

One thing to note if you choose no balance like we did. The brackets that Graywind includes with no balance were larger and left a bit of a gap at the top or you have to mount them on their side which was a little awkward looking (though it would have been covered up from view anyway) so we found some brackets from another brand (search Amazon for “rollerhouse 1”/25mm hardware”) and they fit great for inside ceiling mount.

We also had google home already for a bunch of other home automation so it was important to find a compatible option. The RF and ZF motors both have options but require a separate hub. We went with the ZF motor and SmartThings hub which is what allows us to use it with Google home and also to open and close partial (like if we say “open to 50%” or open to 10%) apparently the RF motor only opens fully and closes so the ZF with SmartThings allows that extra benefit.

The last thing I will say is that the customer service is great! It’s clear it’s in China and is pretty much email only (as far as I know) but I had a lot of questions and needed a lot of help before I committed to doing the whole house. I know I was a tough customer. Zoe and the sales/customer service team always responses within 1 business day and we’re always very helpful and kind and patient with me.

I’ve had these for about a month or so. I originally ordered just one to make sure they worked right before spending a bunch more money. Well I ordered the wrong motor. I thought since we didn’t have the correct Alexa’s that we would need a bridge anyway. We already have the smart things hub. When we got it, it wouldn’t work so I looked into it more and figured out I ordered the wrong motor. I ordered the rf motor that doesn’t work with Smartthings. Do yourself a favor and just get the zf. It works much better. I contacted the company who got back to me immediately. This is probably the best customer service I have ever encountered! They reply immediately and work to fix any problems, which I had a lot of because I apparently don’t know how to read. They still worked with me to make it right and make me happy.
I had my husband put up the first one because I thought I couldn’t do it. When I went to take it down to switch the motor to the correct motor, I realized how easy it was to install them. So I installed the next 4 myself!
Connecting them with Alexa is great! I made routines for them to open and close, I also made routines for different percentages of open because I couldn’t figure out how to get Alexa to just do it. Making routines isn’t hard so it wasn’t a big deal. It’s amazing what Alexa can do. We even added music while it’s opening haha!
We are so very happy with our shades! I wouldn’t hesitate to buy from this company again!

Spent time reading information and reviews on Graywind. All positive reviews were absolutely true and more. Ordered a total of 8 custom motorized shades after ordering fabric samples which were credited back after shade purchase. Ordering process was easy and very detailed. Email correspondence was quick and customer service was extremely knowledgable and helpful, even providing additional remotes upon request. Installation was easy. Quality of shades are great, fit perfectly and operate just as described. Programming remote can be slightly confusing, however the instructions are specific. Follow instructions exactly and shades will work just as described. It is wonderful to open shades at the touch of a button. Will definitely order again and have already recommended to others. Don't hesitate...order these shades!

Perfect fit and really easy installation!

First let me say that I do not generally write reviews, for utilitarian products. This is an exception in that when you talk about shades you don’t usually want to wax poetic. I am absolutely flabbergasted with the fantastic customer service provided by Graywind shades company and their consumer response, and willingness to make the customer happy. The quality, of the shades are excellent but more importantly the back up behind their product is second to none. All I can say is that if you are looking for the best motorized coverings, with the best customer service, that you could possibly ask for you should not have to look further than Graywind motorized shades.

We like remote control shutters and shades, especially in awkward locations like where you have to climb over a tub to get to them. We got a quote from a local window shade retailer and decided we would have to live with manual shades or sell a kidney... until I saw the Graywind shades on Amazon.
I was skeptical, but thought I would give it a try.
Their measure and ordering system was easy to follow and their customer service quickly emailed me back when I had a question about clearances.
After I ordered my 2 shades, they sent me a confirmation dimension diagram and even asked if I was sure about one of my measurements (I had entered it wrong).
Considering they had to be custom made, they came very quickly. The quality was good (not only the shade, but the valance and bottom bar) and everything fit perfectly.
The physical installation was easy, though I did struggle a bit with programing the shades top and bottom adjustment (I'm pretty sure I made a procedural misstep somewhere and had to reset and start over).
Customer service was great throughout the process and allowed me to return my second remote when I discovered that 1 remote can control both shades with the single button.
Awesome product that literally saved us thousands of dollars.

I am so excited about this remote control blind. It was easy to install and fits perfectly. It seems to let just enough light in. The remote control works well, but it is also comparable with Alexa. I have not tried the voice command yet since my echo is of a older generation.

I liked my first shade so much that I ordered 2 more for my living room. I have them over my sliding doors and they're the perfect solution! They were customized and fit to an eighth of an inch. That was really impressive. They're very modern and pretty. Although my cat was not sure about them 😁. I had some issues with the additional 2 shades I ordered and the company was very responsive and extremely helpful. I highly recommend!

I've been searching for a ZigBee based Shade/Blind for quite some time to integrate into Home Assistant. We ordered the fabric samples to see which one we liked best and settled with the Jacquard White. Just to make sure everything worked the way I expected, we ordered a single unit. That first unit came extremely fast. I was expecting to wait a few months, but arrived within a few weeks. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to install too. A few brackets to install inside the window jamb and then slide the unit into place.
Originally I was not planning on buying the remote for the ZF motor, since I was going to use HA with the ZigBee connection, it turns out you need the remote in order to set the Top/Bottom of the shade. So I'm glad I bought it anyways. After a few tries to set the top/bottom positions, I was able to add the shade into Home Assistant and have had no issues opening/closing/setting a percentage open by calling the cover service within HA. Will admit the setting of the top/bottom was the trickiest part, but a few resets of the blinds and I was good to go. Just make sure to join it into your Smart Hubs after the top/bottom positions have been set.
The look of the shade blends right into our windows. My wife was so happy we just purchased 7 more.
Overall I am very happy so far and very glad these can integrate directly into Home Assistant!

These blinds are great. We just purchased a new home with huge windows and an 8’x8’ sliding door that would have been so expensive to cover and a pain to get to behind our sectional.

While the remote is a bit tricky to navigate with the instructions, once I got the hang of it, it was a breeze. The key for me is that you really need to focus on one blind at a time on the 16 channel remote. Once you have it fully set up, then wait 30 seconds before moving onto the next. Then you can combine them on other channels if you like. We were able to create so many different opening combinations with all 16 channels and are very happy. In the morning we raise 1 blind to peek for the bus and when the sun comes out all 5 get raised.

The blinds came quickly, were shipped and packaged very well. The fabric is great and would have been something similar to what we would have picked from a more traditional blind company. The 60% blackout is perfect for us and does exactly what Graywind promises. Lots of light comes in, but nobody can actually se the details of our house at night with the lights on.

With a bit of planning, careful measuring, and some remote coordination, we are very happy.

Great product and great customer service. Submitted my dimensions for the window and it was cut to fit perfectly in the space. Had a question while installing and they got back to me very quickly with directions and a link to a video. Installation went well and happy with product.

I ordered 6 motorized shades of various widths, with solar panels, for my sunroom. The shades came timely, were very well packaged and cut perfectly. The shades looked perfect in the room. Since they were outside mount the shades needed to clear my molding. The brackets and screws that came with the shades did not allow for the additional 1/2" of depth. As such, I needed to attach a 1/2" deep strip above the window frame so the shade would clear the molding. Also, I needed to get longer screws to attach the bracket. While the remote is a nice feature, they are kind of temperamental, and I found myself constantly pairing them to the shades. At times I would need to constantly press the buttons so it would function. (Yes, I put in fresh batteries in the remote and the shades are fully charged). Don't bother using the remote any more than ten feet away. I also purchased the solar panels but since I have Low E windows, I don't expect them to be that effective. That's on me...should have known better.

The blinds were super easy to install. The shade lets in enough light to keep the bathroom from feeling dark. The color of the shade matches the sample and is exactly what we were looking for. I was so happy with the blind that I ordered on for the living room!!

Fast response and delivery, packaged very well, easy to fit, very impressed with the quality, love that we can control them via voice and remote, no unsightly wiring. We are overlooked by a large new building so they have given us our privacy back. Would definitely recommend them.

The shades are terrific and we love them. The fit was perfect. Installation was easy. The remote is awesome. We are planning on getting them for our living room and kitchen now.
The motor is a little louder than expected but very acceptable.

Our family decided to upgrade our vertical blinds from the early 90s to the automated roller shades. They are really nice quality and shipped quickly. What was even more impressive was the amazing customer service. They were quick to respond, confirmed the order specifications and flagged things for us to consider (like overlap of the outside mounted blinds. Overall impressed by this company.

The shade is as expected. Works well with Alexa. It seems fine so far, however the overall look especially around the valence area doesn’t look very high end, just average.
