Just installed. Love the top down, bottom up feature. Could not find this anywhere but Graywind. I love that I can just plug it in to recharge it and don’t need to take a battery in and out. It looks very nice. I wish it was a little thicker material and I wish it was a little cheaper.
i had a handyman come and install it for me. The shade is beautiful and did what i needed. we have a huge tub right in front of the window and it was a hazzard to reach it. The motorized shade gave us a chance to open and close it with no trouble. The manual that comes with it and the video on the website helped understand how to install it. My only complain is about the solar panel cord - it's too short (it should be at least 5 inches longer).
We bought the extension cord sold on the website but it ends up that it is to charge the motor from an outlet and not to extend the solar panel cord. We chose the type mounted on the outside of the window . This extension cord should have a female end similar to the iphone 17 on both sides.
The window is working as expected , it goes up and down and the remote works perfectly.
Blinds arrived on time. Easy to install after watching some of the gray wi ds you tube videos. One extra person required to hold blinds up and the click on mechanism to attach the blind into the wall brackets worked well

I have installed the blackout TDBU shades on 6 windows recently. They all came perfectly sized and installation is super easy. The TDBU feature is outstanding - I’ll always buy this type of shade now.
These were an incredible value, and I’m loving all of my Graywind shades!
The app did not offer top up/down for TDBU Cellular Shades. I was charged for replacement of a faulty shade, which I needed urgently.
I have these motorized blinds installed. They are not working. Not getting a lot of help from the company.

For the top down bottom up cellular shades, a remote is necessary as you may need it to adjust its settings. Each blind comes with a 118" long type-c charging cable.
Does the app have controls for the TDBU shades. One reviewer said it doesn’t.
Yes, for TDBU shades,you can use app to control it. But it needs matched device, for example, if you want to use graywind app, you need a graywind zigbee gateway. If you want to use alexa, you can connect with alexa via graywind app. Or you can check if there is one of these devices in your home: the Echo plus (2nd Gen), Echo Show (2nd Gen), Echo Studio, Echo Show 10 （3rd Gen） and Echo (4th Gen), Echo show8(3nd gen),echo hub
If yes, you don't need the graywind app, you can connect with alexa directly.
I recently purchased and installed this blind but cannot figure out how to program the top down bottom up part. It's working only as a normal blind. I can't find any documentation anywhere. Can you help?
When you press up arrow button,upper and lower rods move upward.When you press down , lower rods decends. when you press left rotate button, upper rods ascends.When you press left rotate button, the upper rods decends until it stops at the fully tightened position.Both of the upper and lower rods go down reaches to bottom limit.
