Graywind Motorized Zebra Blinds | Room Darkening

I ordered two of the Zebra style blinds and could not be more happiet with the color and style I chose for my living room and dining room. The install was extremely easy as the blinds were light weight. I got the system that you plug into the wall because light would be an issue for solar power use. I can still control the units on my phone. It was easy to share access so my husband enjoys rolling the blinds up and down as much as I do. My advise is if you decide to get a wired system, be sure to measure the distance. My setup worked just fine but I could have extended the wire a little.

It's true about the other reviews when they mention the communication is quick and are very responsive.

No doubt I'll be placing another order as I have another window to cover.

Looks great, good quality, wires up easily, motor works flawlessly and is relatively quiet. I just bought for one window but have since bought for the other 15 windows.

Given that, they were not perfect and here are a few reasons why:
1) valance fit window opening perfectly but blind was not centered in the valance. See attached photo...look at the top at the valance and then the blind, relative to the window opening.
2) remote and app only for 3 positions to be programmed. They allow a lower limit, upper limit and a favorite. So you have one that is all the way open, all the way closed and one favorite position in between
3) automation worked for a few days but then have had a string of days where it did not. Maybe a lack of my ability to troubleshoot the app but I am generally pretty savvy when it comes to stuff like this.

All this said, I still went ahead and bought 15 more blinds. I think the first 2 issues could be addressed pretty easily by Graywinds but not really sure yet what's going on with the automation.

Graywind has been fantastic with delivering on time, delivering correctly and offering a superb after sales service all the way. I ordered blinds for the whole house and would definitely order from them again. It was a wonderful experience

Love these window treatments. This is our third order of graywind. Our first order done in 2022 is still look and operate like new. Also customer service is wonderful. Emailed with them for custom color. dual blind, color choice samples, and remote questions.
Love that these blinds are smart blinds. We have ours programmed with Alexa. They open with a key phase and close at a set time each evening.

This company was the best in sales that I have ever dealt with. My own fault I measured wrong three times. I listened to my husband... Each time they guided me with suggestions. They were very helpful. We received the item early! It was a pleasure. It fit perfect and we hung them in ten minutes. They operated great! we loved them. The seller promptly communicated to verify measurements. The motorized zebra blinds were securely packed, fit well in the window opening and worked perfectly as intended. The remote control was already programed to operate the 2 blinds ordered. They look lovely and work well.

I love this product and the Graywind app however it can be a little tricky to set up if you don’t have decent technical skills. I got the BLE motor and the Hub which I plugged into my router/switch. Alexa and Siri work flawlessly. You can do most anything from the app except I think set the speed. For that you need the remote.
I recommend getting one remote no matter how many blinds you have because you’ll only need it to program the speed. Then it will go in the drawer. Buy the Hub for $29 and you’ll get Alexa and Siri integration. Get help with the Hub and app from someone that has a bit of technical skills if you need it. It’s not exactly rocket science though.
Save yourself some aggravation on the install and spray some WD 40 on those spring-loaded brackets.

This was our second order from Graywind but our first zebra shades. We bought them for our garage gym. We wanted the option of letting light in but also having privacy. You can control all the shades with one remote individually or all at the same time. Much more cost effective than the quote we got from a local company. We added the solar panel charging option. For horizontal sliding windows, be sure to run the solar charger long ways so you can open the windows. Figured that out after the first window installation. Very happy with this purchase!

Have ordered several zebra shades and roller shades and couldn't be more pleased. Quality is excellent for the price point and customer service is top notch, they went above and beyond to ensure that the blinds were operating without a glitch. I LOVE my blinds! The communication , help, suggestions, etc with Zoe and Sherry was outstanding!!! Ended up placing another order for more blinds, and requested Zoe and Sherry, for help with that also.. Haven't had my blinds very long, but love them! I got the smart blinds. ZOE and Sherry, in customer service are an asset to the company and should be rewarded!

These were not use friendly at first. We ordered 3 of these blinds for our living room. We had these installed by our contractors during our renovation. The measurements were a little off so our contractors had to cut a little off of our wall to make these fit on the inside of the window. Love the look of the blinds but it's just so complicated to use with the remote and the manual wasn't much help. We have had the blinds for months now and still can't pair it with our Google home. The manual it came with is not very helpful and we couldn't find a customer service number to call. There are no voice commands list available in the instruction manual (or anywhere online). It took a while to actually figure out how to use the remote with the 3 blinds. There was an option that we discovered BY ACCIDENT that controls all the blinds at the same time. We discovered it after having it for over a month. It took some time to actually get it all to work correctly with the remote. Now if we can just get it to pair with Google home that would be great!

Easy to install, look great, and love the hands free operation. Took a bit of trial and error to get the remote set up to operate the blinds all at the same time. Could not get them to connect to Alexa. Texted customer support who answered within a day and told me I need to get a smart things hub. They were custom fitted to my windows with measurements I took. They fit great!

We are having issue setting the top and bottom limit as we are not able to set both at the same time.Scenario-1 ) Set bottom limit requires shade at top most limit which locks the bottom rod and does not release it when press down key which unfolds just the fabric leaving rod in Bracket
Scenario-2) Set Top limit requires shade in bottom most position which is extra length and leaves fabric curled up.
Also bottom position does not align in blackout mode leaving light coming in.
I tried using both the methods to set top/bottom limits like one uses remote buttons and the other uses program buttons where program buttons steps do not work in 3rd step.

I'll attach videos when I get a chance, but I bought these for my whole house, bought a bridge to control it, and control everything through Google Home. This was by no means super hard, but it definitely wasn't easy and requires a solid understanding of wifi-enabled devices and following directions. You might need to reset these blinds once in awhile which is a couple step process, but once you get the hang of everything it's great. Everything is solar powered, I never need to charge any of them (except the ones on the side of my house where I don't get much sun), and they all work via voice commands.

Everyone that sees these love them instantly, and has become a solid focal point of the house. Super minimal design, and beautiful. Came super quick, correct sizes, no issues installing.

I ordered the blinds to replace my old Hunter Douglas blinds cuz they were very expensive I decided to try these blinds. I love the quality and fabric on it. It’s not a blackout blind but does an good job. I ordered white color.

I love these for my bay window! They came pre synched so the stripes match going up and down. They have a remote, but I quickly set them up in the Graywind app, and grouped them, so all 3 open & close simultaneously. I then set a schedule to open & close daily with Alexa.
They look great, and I would totally recommend to others.

Great product, great quality, extremely easy to install, also graywind customer service team is extremely helpful, they answered any questions I had and worked together with me to fulfill all my needs. Would recommend 100% to anyone !!
